Eagan celebrated his birthday with his friends a little late yesterday. He had fun with his dad on his birthday playing his new Guitar Hero and on his new slip n' slide (yes they still make those). We celebrated his birthday on Monday when we were reunited. We got him long-range walkie talkies for his "spy games" and for us to use in the car when the little ones are "talking" (aka screaming Mommy Water! Mommy Tunnel! Mommy I thirsty! Mommy Nah na nah song!). He had fun breaking them in with Justin playing Marco Polo. He invited his baseball team, cousins, some friends from school and our neighbors. It was a good mix for the wiffle ball game and water balloon fight. I made a brownie tower with Oreos (his favorites) after Wrigley and a dog we were watching ate the strawberry cupcakes. We were laughing to see them licking their chops with pride like they were suppose to eat them or something. We love our pet(s).
We can't believe Eagan's EIGHT and going in 3rd grade. We've completely enjoyed being in the same community for his sports, school and friends. It's been such a blessing to have his teammates around him and play ball with. There are some great kids he's met since we moved and even though they may call someone a "fat turd" or not like Eagan's siblings, it's OK because Eagan sticks up for them and hasn't repeated such names as those. He did however name his basketball team for his party the Pooper Scoopers! We love him and are SO proud of who is he and becoming. He is truly a wonderful boy, very loving, obedient, smart, handsome and lover of the Lord.

It makes me so sad to think of them growing up so fast! Just reading your blog makes it so evident to me what a great mom you are and how blessed all of your kids are to have you for their mom!
