Mother's Day 2008
Mom, Julie and I met at Patachou in the Park downtown before going to the Amish quilt and Knitting & Lace exhibits at the State Museum. It's been a while since I've experienced art so needless to say quite refreshing. Lately I've gandered at some crafts n' such trying to tackle them myself, but these works of art were just meant to make us awestruck. 867 $1 bills cut 1/8" wide then attached end-to-end then knitted together to make a size 8 gown, seriously...sold fr $20K.
On Sunday we went north to celebrate Mother's Day with the Keever's and Kilmer's. It is always nice to visit and see how everyone is! It seemed like a quick trip, maybe it was so until next time Monticellians, stay classy!
